Black Acre Brewing Company has a strong commitment to supporting our local community. We try very hard to be involved in as many events and philanthropic opportunities as we are able. If you are interested in requesting something for your event, here are our criteria:
Things we do. We consider donation requests for gift cards and merchandise as well as appearing at a select number of tasting events every year.
Things we don’t do. As a small brewery, we pick one only one non-profit every year to partner with for cash donations. For 2012 we teamed up with the Irvington Development Organization to raise over $2400 for the new Irvington streetscape.
Because we have a very limited amount of beer, we also do not appear at for-profit events or events where full pints are served.
Location. We will consider events anywhere our beer is currently distribute. Currently we distribute to central and southern Indiana.
Time. We’re a small brewery and so we need advance notice to plan for our events. If you are interested in having Black Acre at your event, please give us your information at least 3 months in advance. We need this time to allocate beer, staff, and supplies. We will decide on events/donation at the beginning of every month.
Information. The more information we have, the more accurately we can evaluate if your event/cause is a good fit for us. Please include the following information in each request sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Contact name and email
- Event date and time
- Event location
- Number of projected attendees
- If requesting beer samples, how much beer is requested and do you provide a stipend.
We are growing. We really strive to be a part of as many community events as possible. When we started this company, we had no idea the number of great causes that would end up asking for our support. If we are unable to attend/donate to your event this time, we wish you the best of luck and hope you will still consider us for your next event.
